BV/BRST formalism in the language of L_infinity algebras
САЖЕТАК:
The Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) formalism is unavoidable in the study of gauge field theories. Taking into account the connection between gauge field theory and L_infinity algebras shown in the previous seminars it is natural to wonder how BV formalism fits into this picture. In order to show this we must first define L_infinity tensor products and use them to relate gauge symmetry to classical field theory and consequently to its BV (BRST) extension. The Courant sigma model will be used as an example since it is a theory that showcases all the properties of the formalism.
