FIELD OF RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Theoretical and numerical study of generation, propagation and stability of temporal, spatial and spatio-temporal structures in nonlinear optical media: waveguides, photonic lattices, nonlocal media…Dissipative solitons in semi-conductors, nanocomposites, photonic crystals, metamaterials, atmosphere and biological habitats. Solving multidimensional partial differential equations; analytic solving of various forms of nonlinear Schrodinger equation through expansion method based on the Jacobi elliptic functions. Application of the method of optimization to practical problems.
