On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, the Government of the Republic of Serbia awarded the contracts to scientific and research organizations in Serbia that participated in the public call for project financing within the Program for the Formation and Development of Innovation Incubators.
The Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Dr. Jelena Begović, awarded 14 contracts to scientific and research organizations, including the Institute of Physics Belgrade.
Among the institutions that received contracts, eight of them are from Belgrade, and one each from Novi Sad, Leskovac, Kraljevo, Niš, Čačak and Kragujevac.
As Minister Dr. Begović said in her speech, the new program aims to create innovation incubators within scientific and research organizations that should be a link between the startup ecosystem and the academy.
