Dr. Aleksandar Bogojević, director of the Institute of Physics Belgrade, participated in the Serbia – Italy Business and Scientific Cooperation Forum, held on March 21 and 22, 2023 in Belgrade. Dr. Bogojević was one of the participants in the „From Fundamental to Applied“ panel, which took place within the Scientific Forum on Wednesday, March 22, on the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Antonio Zoccoli from the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Dr. Danilo Ercolini from the Italian National Institute for Agricultural Technologies, Dr. Vladimir Crnojević from the Biosense Institute, Dr. Martina Terconi from the AREA Science Park in Trieste, and Dr. Jasmina Grbović from the Institute for Nuclear Sciences “Vinča” participated in the panel discussion with Dr. Bogojević.
Another panel discussion, with representatives of scientific institutions from Italy and Serbia as participants, took place on the same day. Dr. Jelena Begović, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Branko Ružić, Minister of Education, and Dr. Ana Maria Bernini, Minister of University and Research of Italy, spoke at this panel discussion. Ministers and the rectors of five universities signed the scientific cooperation agreement between the two countries during the event.
The Department of Communications of the Institute of Physics participated in the panels and discussion organization. Both panels of the Forum moderator was Slobodan Bubnjević, head of the Department.
