French researchers visited the Institute

As part of the bilateral project between Serbia and France “Bioavailability of toxic organochlorine pesticides and trace elements in agricultural environments in France and Serbia: contribution to state-of-the-art in vitro methods and risk assessment for human health” financed under the “Pavle Savić” program, members of the French team visited the Institute of Physics Belgrade from October 20 to 28, 2023.

Principle Investigators of this project are Dr. Tijana Milićević from the Institute of Physics Belgrade and Dr. Matthew Dulanu from the Faculty of Agriculture in Nancy, and the implementation is supported by the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia and Campus France.

The Environmental Physics Laboratory of the Institute of Physics Belgrade organized a seminar during the visit, where colleagues from France presented their research, projects and joint cooperation with the Serbian team.

The guests from France also visited the partner institutions as part of this cooperation – the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade, Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad, and the Experimental Farms of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.

Members of the Environmental Physics Laboratory hosted at the Institute of Physics Belgrade colleagues from the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, from the Institute for Plant Protection and the Environment, the Institute for Soil Science, the Institute of Meat Hygiene and Technology, the Institute for Public Health and colleagues from other laboratories at the Institute of Physics Belgrade.
