On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, researchers from the Republic of France visited the Institute of Physics Belgrade to discuss specific actions and plans for enhanced cooperation. Cooperation opportunities emerged after the visit of French Ambassador Pierre Cochard in November 2023, as well as a series of agreements with the French Attaché for Science François–Xavier Kowandy.
Dr. Laurent Larger, former director of the French FEMTO-ST institute and director of the FEMTO engineering center, and Dr. Hervé Maillotte, director of French EIPHI faculty for master and doctoral studies in the field of physics and engineering, visited the Institute of Physics. Dr. Julien Montillaud, head of the CompuPhys master’s program at the French institute Utinam, also attended the meeting via the Zoom platform.
