The new video series A Glance at Physics, produced by the Communication Department of the Institute of Physics Belgrade, brings short science stories about research conducted by our researchers. Researchers from the Institute and other institutions we collaborate with talk about their work – projects, methods, interests, equipment, and goals in five-minute episodes.
While individual episodes bring viewers closer to contemporary physics and the world of researchers, the series is a testimony to the impressive diversity and abundance of research in physics and related disciplines conducted at the Institute of Physics Belgrade.
In the first episode of “A Glance at Physics – What is Supercomputer Paradox Researching?” Dr. Ana Vranić, Dr. Marija Janković, and Dr. Jakša Vučičević from the Scientific Computing Laboratory (SCL) explain how supercomputers are used in scientific research, what they enable us to do and how they use Paradox in their work.
