The Institute of Physics’ project “Media Laboratory (MEDIALAB)” won funding through the Center for the Promotion of Science’s Public call, according to the preliminary results published on April 14, 2023.
The Institute of Physics is thus among the ten projects that won funding in category no.2, for which as many as 111 projects applied.
The “Media Laboratory” is the initiative of the Institute of Physics’ Department of Communications, and represents training for the science journalists. The project was initiated by science journalists Marija Đurić and Slobodan Bubnjević as part of the “Science through stories” initiative, and the first MEDIALAB training was organized in 2018.
The Institute won funding for the MEDIALAB project at the previous Public call as well, and as a result, at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, 20 participants attended the training.
