The Institute of Physics Belgrade, in cooperation with the “Science through Stories” portal, is organizing this season again the Media Laboratory – a unique school of scientific journalism, known as MEDIALAB. This year’s training, called MEDIALAB ADVANCED, is intended for participants who already have some experience in journalism, as well as former MEDIALAB participants.
A significant number of interested people responded to the call, which was open from December 27, 2023 to January 23, 2024. After the selection, 16 participants with media experience were chosen. In this season, MEDIALAB will attend:

MEDIALAB is organized from January to May 2024 in the premises of the Institute of Physics Belgrade. The interactive, interesting and intensive training is led by scientific journalists Slobodan Bubnjević, Marija Đurić and Jovana Nikolić, and the participants will be taught by other media professionals from the domestic press, internet media and television, as well as researchers.
About 50 trainees, young journalists and scientists, who attended MEDIALAB during 2018 and 2022, were invited to rejoin this advanced training. This year’s MEDIALAB was also supported by the Center for the Promotion of Science, which, as part of its Public Call, allocated part of the funds for the realization of this training of science journalists.
