Italian science attaché at the Institute

The science attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade, Luciano Catani, visited the Institute of Physics on Tuesday, 20 September 2022. The visit was organized to further intensify the cooperation, by connecting through infrastructure projects and strengthening ties between Italian and Serbian researchers.

Dr Aleksandar Bogojević, the Institute’s director, Ivan Petković, capital investments and projects advisor, and Slobodan Bubnjević, the head of the Communication Department, attended the meeting with Catani.

During the talks, Catani learned more about the work of the Institute, expressing the readiness to boost mutual relations. The Institute’s director presented capital projects and mentioned that one of the strategic partners of the Institute is the Italian INFN.The Institute and the Embassy of Italy have fostered mutual ties for years, with the Institute having participated in popular science programmes of the Embassy.
