On Thursday, 21 November 2024, Dr Gordana Popović from the European Research Council visited the Institute of Physics Belgrade.
The visit centred on the ERC-funded project Numerically exact theory of transport in strongly correlated systems at low temperature and under magnetic fields led by Dr Jakša Vučičević which is being implemented at the Institute of Physics.
Dr Gordana Popović spoke to Dr Jakša Vučičević, an ERC grant recipient, Dr Aleksandar Bogojević, director of the Institute of Physics Belgrade and Dr Antun Balaž, deputy director and head of the Centre for the Study of Complex Systems.
Following the talks, Dr Vučičević presented the results of the project in the presence of members of his team.The meeting closed with a discussion in which researchers of the Institute received valuable insights from the representative of the European Research Council.
