In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Dr Aleksandar Belić from the Institute of Physics Belgrade appeared on RTS Dnevnik with Lazar Janović.
‘Far back in 1954, Yugoslavia was one of the founding fathers of CERN,’ recalled Dr Belić, noting that Serbia regained its full membership in 2019.
‘CERN is a big infrastructure used by several research groups from Serbia, including the ones from the Institute of Physics Belgrade, University of Belgrade, faculties of sciences in Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac,’ added Dr Belić.
