(VIDEO) One of the leading global researchers in the field of solid state physics, Dr Emil Božin, who has returned to the Institute of Physics Belgrade, from the prestigious Brookhaven National Laboratory, talks about the launch of the new regional Centre for Advanced Structural Analysis for the new episode of the series ‘A Glance at Physics’. The Centre was founded within the Centre for Solid State Physics and New Materials at the Institute.
Dr Božin elaborates on why similar centres exist in other parts of the world, their role and why such a centre has been established precisely in Serbia.
The training centre was created as part of the EU project Hidden Phases in 2D Quantum Materials (HIP-2D-QM) within the ERA Chair Programme.
