Laboratory for biomedical simulations
The laboratory’s scientific activities are focused on the development of the SimSurgery software package for the three-dimensional simulation of various surgical interventions, such as, for example, microwave ablation, radiofrequency ablation, etc. Determining the optimal conditions, under which the mentioned interventions would take place, would enable the planning of efficient and minimally invasive procedures, as well as the optimization of medical equipment. In addition to the results that would be of great importance for biomedical applications, we also expect significant scientific results that will contribute to the strengthening of existing and the establishment of new collaborations with groups in the country and abroad.
