The main idea of the project is to find a way to make defects, impurities and irregularities, which appear in different applications, useful, primarily in the control and manipulation of light. Researchers plan to produce new types of complex photonic structures within the project, and to make them disorderly, analyzing whether they can be useful.

The partner on this project is the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research of the University of Belgrade.
