Superconducting technologies are the main candidates to advance quantum effects into devices and applications. The accumulated knowledge obtained in decades of work in understanding superconductivity enables scientists to make experiments in design, by controlling relevant parameters in devices. A new field is on the rise, and the ultimate goal is to improve devices taking advantage of quantum effects.
