Climate, Big Hall of the Students’ Cultural Center (video)

26. April 2022.

Even though the topic was climate change, the Big Hall of the Students’ Cultural Center was filled to capacity. The panel talk, which took place on April 18, was organized by the Institute of Physics, Belgrade, as part of the initiative Science Through Stories.

The speakers were Dr. Vladimir Đurđević, a climatologist from the Faculty of Physics, Belgrade; Dr. Andreja Stojić, a physicist from the Institute of Physics, Belgrade; Duška Dimović, an activist of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF); and Dr. Uroš Savković, a biologist from the Siniša Stanković Biological Research Institute. The moderator was Slobodan Bubnjević.

The event was also live-streamed on social networks. Some members of the audience won books published by Macmillan and Akademska Misao.

The Big Hall of the Students’ Cultural Center was filled to capacity. Incidentally, the panel talks organized by the Institute are well attended, but climate-related topics, unlike other ones, have not attracted much attention until this latest one.
