The 23rd Step into Science Conference officially opened on Friday, 13 December at the Petnica Research Centre.
Among the distinguished professors and researchers at the conference opening, the present was Dr Antun Balaž who addressed the audience on behalf of the Institute of Physics, Petnica Management Board and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Petnica’s conference Step into Science, held annually, traditionally showcases the works of alumni and guests of this research centre. The Conference aims to allow its alumni to clearly and explicitly interpret and present the results of their training to a wider audience following their research.
The Conference is also an opportunity to bring together previous students of Petnica’s programmes as well as participants in programmes in partner organizations from the region.
