The Election Assembly of the Optical Society of Serbia was held on Thursday, 12 December at the Institute of Physics Belgrade. Dr Antun Balaž, deputy director of the Institute of Physics and a member of the Optical Society of Serbia, welcomed the audience.
The new statute was adopted at the Assembly and new members of the management were elected due to the expiration of the previous members’ terms. Dr Jovana Petrović from the Vinča Nuclear Research Institute was elected the president while Professor Dr Peđa Mihailović from the Faculty of Electric Engineering of the University of Belgrade was elected Deputy President and Dr Zoran Grujić from the Institute of Physics, the ongoing president, was elected Vice President.
Dr Slavica Jovanović from the University of Priština was elected a member of the Supervisory Board replacing Dr Peđa Mihailović,
