In the period between 13 and 15 October 2025, Belgrade will host the conference of the International Association for Biomonitoring of Environmental Pollution (IABEP). The call for registration and abstract submission is currently open.
The conference will bring together experts, researchers and professionals working in the field of biomonitoring of pollution in all land and freshwater habitats. Some of the key topics this conference will deal with are new techniques and methodologies of biomonitoring, new pollutants and their impact on ecosystems, developments in bioindicators and biomarkers, and integration of biomonitoring data into risk assessment and policy decision-making.
The local organiser of this year’s conference is the Institute of Physics Belgrade, with support from the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade.
