
The Conference of the International Association for Biomonitoring of Environmental Pollution (IABEP) will take place in Belgrade, in the period from 13 to 15 October. The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 15 September.
The conference will bring together experts, researchers and professionals in the field of biomonitoring of pollution in all terrestrial and freshwater habitats. Some of the particular topics are: novel biomonitoring techniques and methodologies, emerging pollutants and their impacts on ecosystems, advances in bioindicators and biomarkers for pollution monitoring, and integrating biomonitoring data into risk assessment and decision-making processes.
The Organising Committee invites participants to enter the competition for the best regular and short lectures. The award is intended for young researchers (up to ten years after earning their doctorate).
The local organiser of this year’s conference is the Institute of Physics Belgrade, with the support of the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade.
