National fellowships "For Women in Science"

Scientists Jelena Aleksić, Ljubica Davidović and Tamara Saksida are this year's winners of the national scholarships within the framework of the international program "For Women in Science". These scholarships are for the fifth time in a row awarded in our country. The winners were awarded for the outstanding research work in the fields of mathematical analysis, string theory and quantum theory and immunology. National scholarship program "For Women in Science" in Serbia, as part of the international program of the same name, was launched in 2010 as a partnership between the National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and of L'Oreal Balkans. Since the launch of the program to date, the competition for the National Scholarship was attended by more than 400 young talented scientists, and the best were awarded 14 scholarships with a total value exceeding 8 million RSD.

Women in science
